Accommodation will be at the newly renovated, Da Haa Watsness. There are three rooms available, one kingsize with its own bathroom opposite and a double and twin room sharing a downstairs bathroom. Meals will be mostly eaten out to give visitors the chance to try some local restaurants, breakfasts will either be continental in house or also at local restaurants. One night a week meals will be cooked at Da Haa. As of Aug 2026 we have a 9.2 rating on booking.com
Tours depend on the time of year, but will include daily visits to different areas of the islands to include plenty of opportunity to view wildlife and to stop regularly to look at the stunning landscapes. We are happy for you to bring just your binoculars or a camera. All tours are bespoke and so will adapt the tour depending on what our guests would like to do and how many days you would like to do.
Each tour has two experienced guides, one will stay near the transport and the other can take short walks to get the best out of each location. We are both knowledgeable about what to find at each location. During migration schedules will adapt to target more unusual species but we aim to concentrate on specialities such as otters, divers, orca, mountain hare, grouse, divers and auks.
Prices vary depending on the tour you would like but start from £500 per person, minimum 2, for 2 nights, ( 3 days) A 6 night tour for example starts at £1350 per person, including a £200 booking fee, including meals and transport whilst on the island. Flights or ferry to Lerwick not included. Max 6 guests. Tours are subject to availability and must be booked in advance
